Shingwedzi Stroll

Living in South Africa, I frequented the Kruger Park regularly. I found peace and replenished my soul every time I visited. The northern part of the park runs along the Shingwedzi River and is densely populated by Mopane Trees. I discovered this lone bull elephant strolling along this back game driving route near the river. It was a glorious sight and will remain in my memory forever. Living in the UK, I do miss going out to the bush and the game reserves, so had to paint it.
